Sudha Varma was an Indian Carnatic vocalist from Trichur, Kerala. She came from a musical family, where her mother Mrs Thankakutty Ravivarma was also a Carnatic vocalist. After getting her training from the renowned Carnatic vocalist, Puthukkode K Krisnamuthry Bhagavathar in the traditional "Gurukulam" style, Sudha Varma went on to study at the Palakkad Music College. She joined All India Radio station in Trichur as a Staff Artist in the early seventies.
She has given concerts all over India, including acclaimed institutions such as The Madras Music Academy and Krishna Gana Sabha. Her versatile talents were also show cased for the film music lovers,when she sang a duet with her cousin P. Jayachandran in the movie Taxi Driver. During her tenure at the All India Radio, she composed music for various light music projects and was a fixture on the once popular genre of radio drama series. Even after her retirement, she still continued to give concerts.

She is survived by her two children.
