Yashodha, the daughter of late P V Krishnan Vaidyar and Ammu Amma, sung in many Malayalam movies like College Girl, Gandharvam, Palunkupathram etc. She has sung for dramas and had also rendered mappilappattu. She has sung with Yesudas, Jayachandran, Brahmandan and many others.
She was an active actress and singer in Kalanilayam and KPAC. She was conferred Gurupooja of Lalithakala Akademy, awards of Mappila Kala Akademi, Abudhabi Malayali Samajam etc.
Her husband Illikkal Raghavan predeceased her. She is survived by daughters Ragi and Shreya (playback singer) and son in law Jyothish Kumar (Dubai).
