The film produced by a bunch of creamy talents years ago, was the result of an experiment with very strong leftist political under currents. Though not released due to Censor ship issues,it was screened twice for private viewing.The film marked the turning point in the lives of many, including Bharat Gopi and Bharat Murali. Gopi ventured into film direction for the first time and Murali entered the arena of cinema acting. ‘Njattadi’ was the result of hard work by a group of youngsters who believed films could change society.
