Contrary to the characters with a rural setting that he played so far,in this movie Gopi plays the role of a doctor who lives in Chennai.It was wonderful to watch the transformed body language of an urbanite in the formal garb,striding with long graceful steps.He often acts as a corrective force in the life of his disciplinarian friend played by Nazeer.Yet his own life is a contradiction,that of a divorcee who lost his wife and regrets it.He plays the inner contradiction to perfection.
