Sarojini Menon

Sarojini Menon was born to Padmanabha Menon and Kalyanikkutty Amma of Kannamballil, Thrippunithura. Joined RLV Fine Arts School after SSLC and passed out in Higher Grade in Music.

Sarojini Menon is known in malayalam movie history for her songs in the movie Nirmala in 1948. She sang Karunakara Peethambara written by G Sankarakurup and the music was given by PS Divakar and EI Warrier. There are two songs listed to her credit in Nirmala. Karunakara peethambara is a duet sung along with Vimala B Varma and Aye hridaya is a solo.

Sarojini Menon lives in thripunithura after retiring from her job as a music teacher with her husband Narayana Menon and three kids.
