Mother : v.p.lakshmikkutty, father : c.k.kunjikannan, elder brother : p.n.sreekumar, younger sister : p.n. reshma. after graduation in literature, worked in a theater group ( C.K.G.theatres ) for 4 years.then joined in School of Drama as a direction student under Prof.G.Sankara Pillai. in 1987, got the national award for Radio Drama. written a film song at that time for the cinema,"abhilashangale abhayam" directed by his brother pn sreekumar and the song was sung by K.J.Yesudas. started his proffession as a writer-director in t.v.serials in 1990. karthika, alakal, anantham etc. are directorial works and jwalayay, sree guruvayoorappan, melottu kozhiyunna ilakal etc. are main screen play works. recently scripted and directed a malayalam movie titled as "URAVA" (the spring water). published 3 books of plays.
