Kannan Sooraj Balan

Though Sooraj had long been working with noted music directors in Malayalam as Keyboard Programmer, he was popular among masses as Keyboard Artist in various reality shows. He has worked as Music Director for lots of albums, and as Background Musician for a few movies.

He was found dead at his studio in Kanjikuzhy at morning. His driver reportedly informed the police about the artist's death. Various media reported the cause of death as internal bleeding (as per post-mortem report), and that he was under treatment for blood cancer for years.
